Hi. My name is Maria Valentine.

There I said it. It wasn't so hard now was it, Maria?

For most of my life I went by another. I got married and became a wife.

Now, I may look the same but I'm known as yet another.

Faced with the identity-slaying of UnMarrying, I wanted to unravel my moniker. I stuttered at the simple question, What's your name?

I grew out of my married name and into Maria 2.0.

But before all was said and done, I could only say Maria.

With time and perserverance through both the heart and grit of changing a name I'm three years beyond UnMarrying and finally able to say my whole name.

First, Middle and Last.

For short, just call me Maria Valentine.
